ACORNHILL RANCH CHINCHILLAS
I concentrate on mosaic (white), standard, and ebony with
some beige (hetero beige) being born as I have a gorgeous big beige female as part of my foundation stock.
I strive to breed only the best possible - with all but my first chinchilla coming from major show ranches.
My girls are bred 2x a year (however in all honesty they make the decision not I) as chinchillas live with their
bonded mate (with time apart when they have kits). I have girls that may not breed for a year+ - its all up to them.

I keep my chinchillas in pair sets and colonies of 2 girls and a male (the other female
will gladly babysit a kit while Mom rests). In the picture below their cage setup has been adjusted for the close due
date of Memphis (hetero beige) claiming the house on right.
My chinchillas have their own climate controlled room. The chinchillas have custom cages built just for them and are on a diet of quality
pellets, loose timothy hay and timothy/alfalfa hay cubes with a feed conditioner used as a treat.
Note: I currently use pvc tubes in lieu of wood houses.
